ESPN Analyst Rece Davis spoke to a packed room of Belmont students about storytelling and public speaking on Thursday, October 24th. Davis is a friend of Communication Studies Adjunct Professor, Joel Hester, and agreed to talk with his class.

Hester invited students from Sports Administration and other areas on campus to sit in on the presentation.

Davis talked about his work on ESPN’s College GameDay and focused specifically on how to tell a good story.

A native of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Rece Davis graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degrees from the School of Communications in news and public affairs. Davis was named the University of Alabama School of Communication Broadcast Department’s outstanding alumnus for 2001. He has been with ESPN since 1995.
