The team met at BNA for our first flight to Denver. We spent the day travelling. Our first flight to Denver was a quick, 3 hour flight with a short layover. The next flight was 4 hours to Anchorage. Luckily for everyone on the team, we had an open seat next to us. When we landed, it was about 12AM in Anchorage, but 3AM Nashville time (Central). Pastor Rick from Mat-Su Church met us with a large van and trailer for our bags. We drove an hour from Anchorage to a small town called Wasilla- there, we stayed at the Mat-Su Church on air mattresses. Needless to say, after a long day, we were ready to get some rest.
