TN Department of Treasury Summer Interns (Paid)

The Tennessee Department of Treasury is seeking 13 interns for Summer 2024.
Each year, Treasury hires interns from universities across the state. We would appreciate your help in getting this message to students in your respective department by sharing our Treasury Internship webpage.This internship is a 10-week, educational, experiential, and project-based learning opportunity starting at $25 per hour, that offers undergraduate and graduate students a chance to witness and participate in the operations of a State constitutional office.
Treasury interns are assigned meaningful projects for their program areas, the results of which are presented at the conclusion of the internship to senior staff and university representatives. Project results will be utilized for the benefit of the State of Tennessee. The internship will be primarily a virtual work schedule, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 3 – Aug. 9, with some in-person projects and events scheduled throughout the summer.

Requirements:
  • Enrolled in or graduate of a degree-seeking program at an accredited university
  • Must provide own housing accommodations, workspace, and home internet connection
