Nashville Public Library Foundation Marketing Internship

Responsibilities: The Nashville Public Library Foundation seeks an intern to assist with the production of its 2018 Annual Report. This document demonstrates the role of the Nashville Public Library and the Nashville Public Library Foundation in supporting literacy and learning in our community, and highlights successes of the year. Key responsibilities include gathering materials, writing content, maintaining a project timeline and production schedule, and contributing some photography and design assistance. This internship provides an opportunity to gain meaningful marketing experience within a dynamic non-profit and development setting.
Qualifications: Applicants should be students focused on communications, public relations, marketing, English or related fields. Applicants must have strong written and oral communication skills, with a commitment to the craft of writing and storytelling. Applicants should be well-organized and resourceful, with proficiency in Microsoft office. Ideal candidates have a creative eye for photography and design. Familiarity with Adobe programs is a plus.
Position type: Unpaid, part-time internship; 8-12 hours per week (minimum of 100-150 hours) during weekdays; otherwise flexible scheduling.
