Become an intern at NICE and use your communication skills in a nonprofit organization that helps resettle and support refugees and immigrants in your local community. Since its founding in 2005, NICE has served over 23,000 refugees and immigrants from more than 72 nations. With this internship, you will gain experience in public relations, media management, community relations, and community outreach.

Your help is needed to:

•     Develop social media content
•     Develop relationships with media members
•     Assist in writing and editing press releases and volunteer/donor communication
•     Research marketing opportunities
•     Manage various marketing and community outreach projects
•     Assist with various public relations projects
•     Assist with donor database maintenance
•     Various administrative tasks as needed – filing, data entry
•     Assist with event planning as needed

Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week with consistent availability Monday through Friday during 8am-5pm. Your specific schedule will be discussed with your supervisor. Apply at http://www.empowernashville.org/internships/
