Some have inquired how they can pray for us while we are in Brazil so we have compiled this list so that you can touch and agree with us that God’s will be done!
These are two scriptures we are claiming for the team and trip to Rio:
“I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. You are my servants, I have chosen you…so do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41: 9-10

PRAYER REQUESTS For RIO MISSION TRIP – WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Pray for:
- Spiritual Preparation – for all minds and hearts to be of one accord
- Financial Preparation – for all funds necessary for team members
- Preparations being made in Rio relative to our work and ministry
- Safety in travel, play, and ministry
- A servant’s heart & positive attitude
- Good health
- Cultural adjustment, adaptability, and flexibility
- Wisdom and discernment in day-to-day opportunities
- Team members to be open to God’s leadership
- Compassionate hearts and sweet spirits
- Extravagant love to overflow from our hearts to the people in Rio
- “Life-changing” experience for each team member
- Divine appointments to share the gospel
- Boldness in sharing Christ
- Translators who will help us communicate
- Deepening of each team member’s faith
- Peace in leaving families behind
- Team bonding that will carry over into a new season
- Sharon as she attends to all details and prepares for our arrival
- Pastor Douglas who will lead us in Rio
- Coach Bart who will bring a Sunday morning message at church
- All to see the world and it’s needs through God’s eyes
