About Us
THCA is a nonprofit trade association that represents licensed nursing homes and assisted care
living facilities in Tennessee. We provide education, networking opportunities, business
resources, recognition programs, and government relations for the long term care industry
which cares for the frailest members of society. Our office of 10 employees is in Brentwood.
Our parent organization is the American Health Care Association in Washington, DC.
Internship

Internship Description
• Lead a project to collect inspiring stories of residents in nursing facilities;
• Update the association’s social media presence;
• Assist with projects related to the association’s annual convention and trade show at the Music City Center, August 15-17;
• Create press releases for awards program;
• Write material for the summer issue of the association’s quarterly magazine.

The internship begins June 1 and concludes on August 17, the last day of the annual convention
and trade show. We estimate that this position will require 30 hours of work per week.

The internship requires an individual who writes well, is technically savvy, and detail oriented. If
