Social Media, Event App, Online Auction and Office Inventory Coordinator
Job Description:
Actively post to, maintain, facilitate and moderate throughout the spring/summer TAA sites on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest,
Instagram, LinkedIn, the TAA Community Website and other social media sites as deemed necessary
Create a log of social media progress and make weekly reports on social media activity
Create, develop and maintain a mobile event app (Guidebook) for use during the Arts Academy week
Create an Academy App Evaluation form to be available to Academy participants on paper and to be posted on the app and the
TAA website by Wednesday (July 9)
Actively develop, coordinate, manage and maintain the online TAA Auction website
Actively promote the Academy and Academy special events, as they arise, in a variety of creative ways
Work with future and former faculty and current TAA staff to post notices and spur discussion on the TAA Community website
and social media platforms
Work the month before the Academy to facilitate communication between participants and faculty about the upcoming
Academy
Perform daily inventory of incoming textbooks, catalogues and supplies; maintain accurate lists of all inventoried items; and
communicate with area directors and supervisors regarding all inventory
Work throughout the TAA week (July 12–17, 2020) to attend and report on all Academy activities and to monitor and maintain
the mobile event app
Work after the Academy concludes to provide wrap-up post analysis to Academy participants
Create a year-end overview and report of activity related to TAA Social Media and Event App work
Update the TAA social media and event app notes and guidelines on an ongoing basis and provide a final update prior to the last
week of employment
Perform other office duties and tasks as directed by the TAA Office Manager, TAA Executive Director and other TAA staff as
appointed by the TAA Executive Director
Job Skills Required:
Familiarity with major social media platforms
Familiarity with mobile event apps – with Guidebook app experience a plus
Technical skill in posting and facilitating social media messaging including photos
Strong writing, grammatical and spelling skills
Creativity and professionalism in posting messages
Competence in MS Word, Publisher, and Excel programs–with graphic design program experience a plus
Location: Tennessee Arts Academy Office, Belmont University, 303 Fidelity Hall, Nashville, TN 37212
Compensation:
$10 an Hour
NOTE: 4 Week Trial Evaluation
Schedule:
Begin January 21, 2020 – End Aug 7, 2020
January 21 – May 1
o 6 – 9 hours per week (TBD)
o 3 times per week between 1 and 5 PM
May 4 – July 2
o 20 hours per week
o Monday – Friday between 1 and 5 PM
Pre Academy Week and Academy Week Hours
o Pre Academy Week, July 6-11, 2020: 40 TAA hours + possible added hours for the TAA Foundation
o Academy Week, July 12-17, 2020: 40 TAA hours + possible added hours for the TAA Foundation
July 21 – August 7
o 15 – 20 hours per week (TBD)
o Monday – Friday between 1 and 5 PM
