Eyeris: Operations Paid Intern

Eyeris is a contact lens company that is dedicated to putting the doctor/patient relationship first.
With the rise in popularity of online disruptors (think Hubble, 1-800 Contacts, Aveo, etc.), Eyeris
saw a trend in eye care that they didn’t love. A trend that puts patients in danger and
compromises the care they receive, if they receive any at all. That’s where Eyeris stepped in.
Through patient education, convenient software (for both patients and doctors), and a
groundbreaking lens, Eyeris is leading the charge in taking the industry back.

Eyeris lives by one mantra, everything matters. From tasks as large as branding and
investor meetings to matters as small as gift bags and cleanliness of the working space, it all
matters. The team is small, but mighty. They are go-getters, check-list crossers, and detail
oriented because in start-up world, the foundation you lay for a company sets the tone for
growth and expansion. They ultimately have BIG goals.

The Chief of Staff is looking for an intern to help with the following parts of the business:

● Doctor Acquisition…boiled down, this involves reaching out to doctors all over the nation
and setting them up with an Eyeris portal. You must be a strong communicator,
well-spoken, and professional.
● Research…our CEO and CMO know lots of the right people. Getting those people in one
central place with necessary info is a different story. You need to be detail oriented and
willing to research things to death to ensure you have the correct information.
● Data Entry…as they acquire more doctors, they need a database that organizes their
information. You must be organized and quick on your feet.
● Administrative Work…this is a small team, but does a lot. From planning conventions,
events, dinners, research groups, and more, there’s lots of moving pieces and tasks to
be completed along with each project. You must be great at keeping things organized
and willing to help with the mundane tasks.

The ideal intern will be a self-starter. Someone that sees a hole and fills it. Someone that’s less
concerned with receiving recognition and more concerned with making sure everything gets
done. This intern will have a work ethic that no one rivals. You thrive in a small team
environment where everyone covers multiple areas to ensure that the job gets done, team
players.
