Basic Girl Marketing is seeking to teach a superstar in their rapidly growing internship program!
This position is an internship/entry-level and is perfect for an individual who desires to work with
a company that is willing to teach them and explore the ins and outs of social media strategy,
content creation, and selling. Candidates must be strong in time management, organized,
consistent, and innovative in order to drive engagement and sales on social media.

Responsibilities include:
● Reaching out daily to potential clients on social media
● Engaging with current followers, providing them with valuable content based on
conversations
● Growing the FB group each week
● Growing my IG account each week
● Growing the email list each week

Metrics/Success Measured By:
● Number of messages sent to potential clients
● Number of messages sent to current followers/group members
● Number of followers added to IG
● Number of group members/ email list subscribers added

Basic Girl Marketing is a copywriting agency in Nashville. They help both online and local
businesses sell more, build authority, and clarify their message with content and copy that
stands out.
This growing team is looking to bring on interns to train and potentially hire (based on fit for the
company) who are:

● Go-getters. You are hungry, willing to hustle, and don’t make excuses.
● Out of the box thinkers. You don’t want a traditional 9-5, but know that success requires
work.
● Disciplined. You can show up consistently to do the work even if results are immediate.
● A little basic. Pumpkin spice lattes, leggings, and The Bachelor are your love language.
● You love people, serving them, and being excellent at what you do.
● You want to learn. You know that there is a lot you don’t know and want to soak up
some real world learning!

This internship will require weekly meetings and training – but most of the work can be done
virtually. Their intention is to provide someone with an internship, train them, then bring them on to
work either part-time or full-time after 6 months of proven work!
