My name is Patricia Camerota, I am the social media editor at Cosmopolitan. My colleague Shannon Barbour and I wanted to reach out because we are currently looking to hire 4 bright interns to join Team Cosmo this summer—and we wish to open up this opportunity with students at Belmont.

We’re hoping to circulate this listing within the Journalism, PR, or Communication departments, and in the career centers at Belmont. Ideally, we are looking for top students in these fields of study who are passionate about pursuing a career in women’s media. Cosmopolitan is looking for summer interns to join our smart, funny, internet-obsessed team! Our internship program requires at least 16 hours a week which is ideally broken up into 2-3 days at the office. Interns will be responsible for assisting with any editorial tasks including transcribing interviews, conducting research, updating photo galleries and other online content, and developing content for the social media channels. When needed, they will also assist with fashion and beauty video/photo shoots. During the intern’s time at Cosmo, they will gain a wealth of experience working for a publication that has successfully integrated digital and print. Students must be undergraduates who are able to receive course credit to apply to this internship.
