Description:
This position is a multi-media storyteller who uses video, graphic design, and/or photography to bring ideas to life. They will work closely with our Marketing Manager to identify and create short-form video that is distributed across social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot and edit short-form video content that encompasses the companies strategy and brand objectives
- Assist with photo editing, minor graphic creation/editing and distribution to vendors
- Assist with new-employee head shots
- Assist with new digital billboard content creation and collaboration
- Involvement with staff from all departments, and occasionally participating customers, to develop content
- Curate a consistent schedule for content posting
- Creative flexibility to reach different audiences
Requirements:
- High proficiency in Adobe creative suite with emphasis on Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Strong social media video capabilities
- Demonstrated skills in photo editing/retouching
- Familiar with social media platforms, comfortable with best practices, asset specifications, restrictions and content guidelines
- Understand social media creative trends (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok)
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environment with multiple projects and changing priorities
- Effective and efficient communication skills – With management, employees, and customers
- You are a creative thinker with infectious enthusiasm for your work. Be prideful in everything you do.

- The candidate will help develop, shoot and edit both photo and video projects to create meaningful, creative visual content with a consistent message and theme
Deliverables and Deadlines:
Project deadlines and time-frames will vary depending on the project. In some cases we’re looking for same-day turnaround, but others can be 3-5 days based on need and the amount of work needed and the campaign objective.
Paid Opportunity – Pay would be hourly (15-30 hours per week) and dependent upon experience and proficiency with software/platforms (*not finalized* $12-15 per hour)
About the Freeland Auto Initiative:
At Freeland Auto we have two OEM car dealerships and other automotive related businesses. The main focal point of this role will be based out of the car dealerships, tasked with content creation on our social platforms to bring our brand promise to life in a visual and creative way. Our brand promise is “Where People Matter” and the overall goal of this brand promise is to bring fun, excitement, joy, and energy to all experiences within a car dealership (Sales, Parts, Service). We need help turning our brand promise and ‘customer experience focused’ ideals into visual content that will bring our message to life, and resonate with consumers. We would like to utilize our own employees, daily work life, customer experiences and testimonials, etc. to illustrate this brand initiative. The ideal applicant will use his/her creative abilities and social media knowledge of trends
