The Belmont Speech & Debate Team not only won the overall state title, but they did so in a convincing and historical fashion!

Belmont won state titles in twelve of the fifteen events over the weekend scoring more points than any team in the history of our state tournament!

The second-place team (Carson Newman) scored 143 points overall while Belmont ended up with 393!
