Full-Time Position: Marketing Coordinator ProAssurance

This position can be hybrid (3 days per week in our Franklin TN office/2 days per week virtual).

The Marketing Services Coordinator supports the Marketing Director in effectively and efficiently executing the programs and strategic initiatives related to building brand awareness and the support of sales and marketing efforts. This position offers considerable opportunities to leverage and develop strong skills in project management, leadership, communications, relationship building, and development of marketing strategy required in meeting the objectives of the PICA Group Marketing Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

60% – Coordination/Project Management Support:

  • Project management of a variety of large, strategic internal and external communications, coordinating the skills and efforts of a diversely skilled team for an effective and efficient completion of each.
  • Report and analyze key marketing campaigns including emails, website, and social media.
  • Assisting the Marketing Director in coordinating strategic marketing campaigns for specialized partnerships, including: managing multiple direct mail campaigns, creating and updating of marketing materials, and handling the approval process between the two parties (agents, groups, associations).
  • Assisting management in the initial project intake process including: routine assigning, record keeping, reporting, auditing to ensure compliance, and creating a monthly summary of highlighted marketing projects for the executive team.
  • Managing the annual review and revision process of marketing materials to ensure branding, content, and legal compliance, including project status review and reporting for the team.
  • Handling the coordination of speaking events including: gathering bios, headshots, course descriptions and speaker contracts. This role will also assist in the retrieval, recording, and analysis of events including recorded webinars, live conferences, podcasts, conferences, and etc. risk management programs with various partners (agents, groups, associations).
  • Coordinating budgeting, speaker proposals, invoice processing, and proper recording of speaker/vendor contracts.
  • Representing the department when assigned in building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships between ProAssurance and a group of high performing agent partners.
  • Assisting the team in coordinating internal marketing campaigns by representing the department in various committees.

35% – Operations and Administrative Support:

  • Coordinating events including webinars, podcasts, and trade shows.
  • Assisting the Marketing Director in the annual development, management, and routine monitoring of the department’s budget process, including overseeing the proper and timely submission of invoices into our accounts payable system.
  • Monitoring industry competitors and marketing news, as well as conduct other assigned market research projects and submitting reports on to the team.

Secondary Responsibilities:

5% – Other marketing and project management duties as assigned by the department management team.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required with a preference for study in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration. A high school diploma or G.E.D and a minimum of eight years relevant experience is required for candidates without a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of three years of project management experience and marketing operations required.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven relationship building skills.
  • Accomplished written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with Asana and Hubspot a plus.
