Communications Manager | Saint David’s Episcopal Church |Nashville, TN

Saint David’s is looking for someone who will lead our communications efforts to a growing
audience in West Nashville. The ideal candidate is someone who embraces the values of the
Christian faith and exhibits proficiency in written communications, graphic design and
social media management.

This is a salaried part-time position. The expected workload is 10 hours per week, with
fluctuations depending on seasonal needs. This position will be mostly work-from-home,
with expectations of occasional on-site tasks.

Responsibilities:
The communications manager will oversee the implementation of our communications
strategy that includes media outreach and event promotions.
● Maintain and update Saint David’s website.
● Manage Saint David’s social media platforms.
● Promote special events via online and offline channels.
● Occasionally prepare graphical and verbal materials in support of special events/
programs.

Requirements:
● Upstanding moral character and work ethic.
● Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
● Proficiency in written communications.
● Basic knowledge of web editing. Prior experience with HTML and CSS preferred.
● Prior experience in similar roles strongly preferred.
