The Office of Residence Life is launching a Marketing Internship program for the Spring 2022 semester! We will be offering three different internship experiences in Social Media Management, Graphic Design and Photography.
The internship program is an unpaid experience, but you can earn class credit and work experience. The Social Media Manager’s role will oversee research, daily operations, engagement, and content creation in relation to the Residence Life social media accounts. The Graphic Manager’s role will oversee logo design, publications, and help with content creation. The individual in this role should have experience and demonstrate competence in using Canva, Adobe, and other graphic creation software. The Photographer/Videographer will utilize SmugMug, OneDrive, and Google Drive to store and archive content created. The individual will create film, photography, and video posts for use on Residence Life social media. The individual will assist the others in content creation.
Each intern will work a flexible schedule including participating in weekly one-hour meetings to be held Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm. These weekly meetings are split into biweekly meetings consisting of even weeks occurring with all members of the marketing team and odd weeks consisting of a one-hour meeting with their supervising RD.
