Belmont’s College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (CLASS) and College of Education (COE) is looking for a strategic, creative, design savvy and forward-thinking student to join our team as a social media intern. A strong knowledge of the digital landscape and current social media trends is a must. This internship will allow aspiring professionals to try new ideas and develop social media campaigns that will elevate the brands of both the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences & College of Education.
Responsibilities:
- Daily management of Facebook and Instagram accounts for CLASS and COE
- Campaign development and strategy
- Interfacing with students, faculty, staff and alumni for account features and events
- Digital content creation
- Capturing video content
- Brand development
- Research and analytics tracking
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of social media management experience
- Familiarity with design software such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Up to date on current social media trends
- Social media branding experience
- A self-starter and fast learner who is willing to share new ideas
