Located in downtown Nashville, Tenn., Hall Strategies, which was founded in 2004, is an independent public relations and government relations firm positioned at the forefront of Music City’s civic progress and business growth. Our firm has taken part in many of the largest projects and initiatives that have shaped the region. We represent a diverse array of local and national companies doing business in Nashville, throughout Tennessee and across the country.
Hall Strategies is seeking a part-time intern for the spring semester. Hours can be flexible, but preference is to be available at least three days a week. Our office is currently taking a hybrid approach with some days in the office and others remote. Downtown parking is provided. This is a paid position.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist team members to drive public relations programs forward
- Assist in administrative tasks in support of Business Services Manager
- Manage multiple projects from conception to completion
- Deliver on deadlines
- Produce outstanding internal and external communications content
- Coordinate traditional media and social media outreach programs
- Ability to creatively execute and deliver on very diverse projects and needs
Basic Qualifications:
Major in public relations or communications related field greatly preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (outlook, word, excel, etc.) required. Design capabilities (InDesign, Canva) a plus. Strong written and verbal capabilities.
