Social Media Internship Move! Music City

Move! Music City is a 501 (c)(3) organization with a mission to empower students to live a healthier lifestyle, build resilience to stress and trauma and grow social emotional skills by developing a love of running and exercise. Through a five-step program, we give students equitable access to physical activity breaks throughout the school day. These short breaks are proven to promote concentration in the classroom, build positive self-esteem, and create a healthier lifestyle for years to come.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content.
  • Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
  • Brainstorms campaign ideas.
  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Attend fundraising events to capture content to post on social media accounts.
  • Visit Fall Hamilton Elementary school once a week to capture of the program to put onto the social media outlets.
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Move! Music City is a brand new nonprofit organization. The intern will be working along side of the founder/director. The expectation will be 10 hours a week with the understanding that weeks of large events will require longer hours.
