Job Description

The Client Success Team Member role is designed for the Bernard Team Member who will answer all insurance related questions our clients and their employees have and, when necessary, serve as their advocates when navigating the healthcare industry to ensure they save time and money while getting the care they need. They will also play an integral role in helping our clients through the quoting process and in utilizing BerniePortal.

Responsibilities will also include helping individuals and families design and implement the best possible health plan strategy, based on their needs.

Scope of Responsibility:

Client Success Team Members support out employer clients with questions throughout the year around the following:

  1. Billing confusion
  2. Claims issues
  3. Coverage confusion
  4. Enrollment (Annual & Qualifying Event)
  5. Policy changes
  6. HSA eligible expenses
  7. Provider Network
  8. Continuation of Coverage
  9. Renewal Quoting
  10. BerniePortal implementation & ongoing support

In order to provide world class service, this Team Member must initiate and maintain strong relationships with both our clients and their employees as well as the insurance carriers we work with.

Ideal Candidate

We are searching for hard-working individuals who have:

  1. Previous health insurance experience, either at a health insurance company, a medical provider office, employee benefits firm/brokerage, or the HR department of a large employer.
  2. Strong organizational skills
  3. Exceptional ability to pay close attention to detail
  4. Strong record of being a self-starter
  5. Ability to positively contribute to a mutually respectful work environment
  6. Have demonstrated excellent communication and follow-up skills
  7. Persistence in taking difficult tasks to completion

Compensation:

  1. Target compensation begins at $42,000
  2. Full health and ancillary benefits
