Paid Internship – University Communications

The Office of Communications at Belmont is looking for a fall intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and build your writing portfolio.  Here is their description:

“We are looking for someone who is a great writer, creative, self-starting and eager to learn. Our intern does a LOT of writing – both news and feature style writing. Knowledge of AP style is a must. Our intern is also the editor of the weekly Bruin Breeze, and we would love to have someone who will bring fresh ideas to the table and who can write in a fun and engaging way for the student audience. Our intern also gets pulled into various other projects and events and truly gets treated like a member of our team. This is a paid position with the opportunity for up to 20 hours a week. We are also able to work with Federal Work Study students.”

If you are interested, send your resume, a cover letter and 2-3 writing samples to Haley Charlton and Greg Pillon. Once they have candidates, they’ll begin interviews.
