Description:
Belmont’s College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (CLASS) and School of Education (SoE) is
looking for a strategic, creative, design savvy and forward-thinking student to join our team as a
social media intern. A strong knowledge of the digital landscape and current social media
trends is a must. This internship will allow aspiring professionals to try new ideas and develop
social media campaigns that will elevate the brands of both the College of Liberal Arts & Social
Sciences & School of Education.
Responsibilities:
-Daily management of Facebook and Instagram accounts for CLASS and SoE
-Campaign development and strategy
-Interfacing with students, faculty, staff and alumni for account features and events
-Digital content creation
-Capturing video content
-Brand development
-Research and analytics tracking
Requirements:
-2 or more years of social media management experience
-Familiarity with design softwares such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite
-Up to date on current social media trends
-Social media branding experience
-A self-starter and fast learner who is willing to share new ideas
