On November 16-18, Belmont University’s speech and debate team competed at the “Tennessee Porch Swing” tournament held by Carson-Newman University and Berry College.  Results from the weekend were as follows:

• Marissa Avnaim – Extemporaneous Speaking, Top Novice
• Alexander Baynum – Informative Speaking, 3rd Place; Impromptu Speaking, 3rd Place
• Alex Jordan – Programmed Oral Interpretation, 5th Place
• Tyler Redmon – Extemporaneous Speaking, 3rd Place; Impromptu Speaking, 5th Place
