Lambda Pi Eta hosted the COM 1100 Speech Contest Wednesday, October 25. Lambda Pi Eta members, Erin Sanislo, Megan Good, Laura Durr, Katie Chappelle, Charlotte Payne, Mabry Culp, Mary Jane Meirose served as judges for the preliminary and final rounds. Communication Studies major and second-place finisher last year, Michael Ottavio, served as Master of Ceremonies. The finalists (left to right) were Liz Smith, Kat O’Neill, Emily Beck, Mary Spaulding, Kameron Ziesig, and Sydney Evans. Evans placed first, O’Neill placed second, and Jones placed 3rd in the contest. Videos of the contest are available on our Youtube channel.
