Assists the Executive Director with implementation of public event planning, social media audience development, and overall communications and public relations strategies for Metro Arts. This is a generalist position who will work across internal teams, external stakeholders and peer city departments to translate our mission into public communications vehicles. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of social media applications, especially Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Periscope and Instagram, knowledge of website content management systems, ability to manage timelines and deadlines, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
