More than 30,000 pages of constantly-updated content is included on topics such as: work permit/visa regulations, resume writing guidelines and examples, employment trends, salary ranges, networking groups, cultural/interviewing advice, corporate profiles and worldwide job listings…plus much more!
USA/Canada City Guides
USA City Guides contain career and employment resources for the 40 largest metropolitan areas in the USA. Included in this database are: job search resources, employment outlook, professional networking groups, cost of living, major employer listings by industry sector, non-profits and volunteer opportunities. H1B employer listings are also listed for all 50 states!
Handshake is the career management platform that contains job and internship postings from both local and national employers. Employers who have reached out directly to Belmont have job postings here. In addition to searching for positions, students can also view upcoming events, schedule an appointment with a career coach, create a profile and submit a resume that can be viewed by employers, and more.
O*NET OnLine has detailed position descriptions on almost 1,000 occupations and can provide job seekers with insight into specific tasks, work activities, necessary skills, knowledge, abilities, and more of individuals that work in a particular occupation to enhance one’s understanding of different occupations and can be beneficial in narrowing down a specific career focus.
