Description of primary duties
• Create promotional materials for local events
• Coordinate resources for local events
• Attend events and assist the communications director with social media duties
• Attend interviews at local media outlets
• Local media outlet research
• Copy writing
• Help manage market Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages
• Run nearby errands (stores and media outlets) to drop off and pick up communications materials
• Create colorful ROI documents to present to media sponsors
• Input media impressions into Excel spreadsheet
Qualifications
• Strong writer
• Social media savvy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Outgoing, hardworking, punctual
