All have arrived safely back in Atlanta. Our flight from Atlanta to Nashville has been delayed for 30 minutes, so we will be a little later arriving home.

Update: The bus carrying the team to campus pulled into the Curb Event Center loading zone a little past 7:15pm. Go Bruins!

Headed Home

The team will be boarding a bus for the airport in the next 30 minutes. The flight home is over 11 hours, so hopefully all will get some rest. Arrival in Nashville is scheduled for 5:30pm.

Bruins Win Exhibition Game at Scauri

In a hard fought match characterized by an agressive Belmont defense and lackluster shooting by the home team, Belmont defeated the professional Scauri Basket team 96-62. A late arrival in the seaside town of Scauri meant that warm-up times were compressed after the two hour bus ride. The Bruins warmed up quickly as play began and enjoyed a 52-35 lead at half time. Arrival in Rome

This is just a quick update to let everyone know that we are settling into our hotel in Rome. It is about 7pm here and everyone is getting cleaned up to find food somewhere nearby. Our stop in Sienna was pretty amazing. The walled city, the narrow streets, and the piazza where horse races are held were some of the highlights. The 3 hour bus ride from Sienna was without air conditioning for most of the way…thus the ‘getting cleaned …
